THE RISE OF IGBO NATIONALISM AND MILITARISM
Look at the flags and stage befitting a governor or head of state. Call it BIAFRAUD, call it whatever you like, but there is no discounting the passions this leader has awoken in Igbo people. He has made it cool to be an Igbo nationalist and patriot, a distinct and unique identity that has nothing to do with Nigeria. What people don't understand is that Kanu (and his IPOB) is the man of the moment but this agitation is greater than him, he is merely a conduit pipe for the expression for the dream of a sovereign indigenous republic, that Igbo people experienced for 30 months. No other tribe in Nigeria has experienced independence from Nigeria. Only the most astute and sensitive members of Nigeria realize the magnitude of this agitation. Kanu is winning the hearts and minds of grassroots Igbos and the mental separation from Nigeria is growing and it is something no force of arms can eradicate.
