NIGERIA RIDING FURIOUSLY TOWARDS COSMOPOLITANISM BASED ON ALMAJARI DRIVEN AND OTHER MIGRATION

Unless Nigeria breaks, the ethnic nature of many states will have an altered and new cosmopolitan outlook from mass and cross migration in the next five to ten years to something unrecognizable especially after this pandemic.

There will come a day when there will be many mosques in the SS/SE just as there are churches in Kano or Borno or Zamfara and even Sokoto with neighborhood Emirs just like there are Bishops and Eze's in the North and in the West.

Nigeria is not they first country to face an invasion of unwanted migrants, check how Turkey invaded Germany and Syrians flooding into Europe, or to Kosovo Muslims moving into Western Europe or Mexicans and Cubans into America, in search of a better life even as they bring a crime wave along with them.

Unless Nigeria breaks, nomads are going to flood the east necessitating the expansion of Alausa in places like Owerri just as Kano has Sabon Gari quarters for strangers in Kano.

These undocumented nomadic immigrants who have crossed Nigeria are already Nigerian, there is no way to identify them, there are no logistics to mass deport them and it is a free country and they will multiply like rabbits and try to assimilate, learning the language and marrying local women.

They will multiply like rabbits and it will become very difficult to identify them except through their religion if the still practice it or manner of dressing, but they will in all likelihood dress like the natives and try to fit in.

Many might point to a grand conspiracy to use migrants like the almajari as foot soldiers for some holy war, be that as it may, not many will return to their ancestral land, many will abandon that plan because they will be unable to practice almajari customs and mingle with the population, even if they get guns and attack the local population they will not be such an overwhelming force that they cannot be checked over time by the civilian population. 

Same applies to Yoruba's containing Igbo's in Lagos and Kano containing same Igbos in Sabon Gari, or Igbo’s containing the activities of foreigners in the east despite their presence, think  long after Buhari is no longer in office and a southerner becomes president.

Whatever your feeling and unless Nigeria breaks, this trend is unstoppable as exemplified in America where minorities are set to outnumber white Americans in a few years and the racial composition of Americans becomes more integrated and undistinquishable.

This is the history of nature and evolution and if you want to blame anyone, blame Lord Lugard for recommending that the northern and southern protectorates be amalgamated.

At the end of the day, this migration and forced integration that will alter tribal identities is the cost of one Nigeria to all its previous indigenous peoples.

Brace yourself for this eventuality unless Nigeria Breaks or Biafra Comes.
