You understand the problems of Nigeria when you begin to wonder why the Ooni of Ife and the Sultan of Sokoto are the only Kings seated at the table alongside Mr. President and his VP. Look at the flags and stage befitting a governor or head of state.  Call it BIAFRAUD, call it whatever you like, but there is no discounting the passions this leader has awoken in Igbo people.  He has made it cool to be an Igbo nationalist and patriot, a distinct and unique identity that has nothing to do with Nigeria.  What people don't understand is that Kanu (and his IPOB) is the man of the moment but this agitation is greater than him, he is merely a conduit pipe for the expression for the dream of a sovereign indigenous republic, that Igbo people experienced for 30 months. For years the great people of the middle-belt, south south and south east were very accommodating and allowed Fulani herdsmen graze openly and without restriction on their lands with the understanding that the stay clear of farmland. Initially these people tolerated these nomadic Fulani who have no true home and allowed them graze on their land without paying any fees except for the occasional tribute to the local chief.  These people were so accommodating the allowed these Fulani and Hausa merchants to buy land and or build houses and because of their strange habits and religion many towns outside the north allowed for the creation of Hausa quarters similar to Sabo gari in Kano. Despite my pro BIAFRAN sympathies, I can concede that for months prior to his arrest and through his Biafra Radio, Nnamdi Kanu has made many incendiary, hurtful, tribalistic and insensitive statements remarks. He also abused president Buhari and "Awusa Fulani" in a highly inflammable manner in his quest to create an indigenous republic for Igbo people. Every action elicits an equal and sometimes overreaction and no proud group of people will stand by and not react to passive aggressive actions and accusations without comment or an equally loaded response.
